To April: You don’t know this but I’m glad I didn’t cut you off when we had a fight years ago. You’ve been a good friend to me lately. Somehow the TikTok streaks challenge from you make positive change while I was in grief. At first it sounds so silly to me like why this streaks matter? Now I realize we actually keep in touch every day in a fun way, not just for the sake of maintaining a streak. Thank you for sending me fortune cookies and being part of my streak.
